This car seat is designed to be rear facing for infants up to 35 lbs., and forward facing for a child from 22 to 40 lbs. For the rear-facing position the car seat includes additional Latch attachments to make it extra safe for infants. In the forward facing position, the car seat offers four different recline positions. The recline positions can easily be adjusted even with the seat installed; it uses color level indicators to ensure that the base is always installed at the proper angle. In addition it includes a foam lined head rest, padded 5-point harness, unique leg support for the base, and a removable and washable seat pad.
