The Maxi-Cosi Perle Umbrella Stroller has had some mixed reviews, but reviewers do agree that it is a good lightweight umbrella stroller with features other umbrella stroller doesnt have. Reviewers all found this stroller to be very lightweight, weighing in at 17 lbs. A feature that reviewers especially liked was the ability to turn it into a travel system with the addition of the Maxi-Cosi® Mico™ Infant Car Seat. The stroller comes with the car set adapter already integrated as part of the frame. Another feature that reviewers really liked was the ergonomic handles that are taller than on many umbrella stroller models, making it more comfortable for taller parents. Reviewers also found that this stroller did not have a tipping problem which is found in other types of umbrella strollers. An adjustable footrest allows the footrest to be adjusted to accommodate sleeping little ones, and another nice feature is it includes a parent and child cup holder. In addition, this stroller comes with its own rain shield that can be easily zipped on to cover your little one from head to foot. Many reviewers also stated that this stroller was easy to steer and maneuver, and little ones were very comfortable in the stroller. Despite all of the positives reviewers did note some negatives about this stroller. For instance, reviewers noted that the wheels tended to get the canopy dirty when folded, because they rest against the canopy when folded. Another issue was with the child cup holder, which many parents stated seemed to be flimsy. Still another issue was with the need to use more then one hand to fold the stroller. Reviewers also felt the shopping basket was too small, and that the sun canopy was not large enough. Even though reviewers mentioned several issues with this stroller, they felt that the pros far out-weighed the cons when comparing it to other lightweight umbrella strollers.
