The Maxi-Cosi® Mico™ Infant Car Seat is getting high marks from its reviewers. This car seat is made to surpass all safety regulations in both Europe and the United States. Reviewers really appreciated the EPP Foam that is made not just to cushion and position baby, but to withstand impacts. This car seat works well with the Quinny® Buzz™, Zapp™, and the Maxi-Cosi® Perle™ and Loola™ strollers to make a travel system. Another feature that reviewers appreciated was the stay-in-the-car base that allows the car seat to quickly click in and out of the base when taking the car seat along. The Mico™ also has additional accessories available such as a bug net, rain shield and a foot muff; accessories not typically found with other infant car seats. Another plus that had reviewers excited is the unique design and all of the bright fun colors it comes in. Reviewers, however, did have a few drawbacks of the Mico™ Infant Car Seat. For instance, the car seat comes with a sun canopy; many reviewers noted that it wasn’t large enough to give their infants enough coverage from the sun. Another drawback found by parents was the adjustable harness system not being able to accommodate larger babies. This car seat as specified by the manufacturer is designed to accommodate babies up to 29 inches in length, but many reviewers found that the fit became too tight on their children before reaching this length. Another issue found was with the button release on the base being hard to depress, and having the occasional problem of sticking open or closed. Overall reviewers were very excited about discovering and purchasing this car seat. Many reviewers mentioned that because of its style and fun colors it was constantly getting noticed.
