They launched the company in 1984, based in Foxboro, Massachusetts, with the "Baby on Board" sign. With the instant success of these signs, they developed the Safety 1st line of childproofing products. In the wake of the continued success of the Safety 1st line, they developed the Cosco, Quinny, and Maxi-Cosi Brands. To make the company even stronger, Dorel paired with two of the biggest names on the market today; Disney and Eddie Bauer.
