The History of 4moms
4moms kicked off in 2005 when the company’s founders, Rob Daley and Henry Thorne, joined forces with experienced mothers to help make daily tasks easier and more enjoyable for both parents and kids. The company’s name derives from its first focus group which consisted of four moms: Jenn, Cindy, Kristy and Elizabeth.
Those four moms, who were at the center of the company’s decision to enter into the juvenile products market, continue to head up its Council of Moms – the first place Rob and Henry go when they need advice about any new products. The feedback that they get from this core-group of moms, along hundreds of others, literally shapes the direction of every product they develop.
Since 2005, 4moms has been awarded a JPMA Innovation Award for their Mamaroo Infant seat, along with a National Parenting Center Seal of Approval and an iParenting Media Award for their Goodnight Sleep Trainer, a product that helps parents get their children to sleep through the night.
These days, 4moms is proud to offer 4 great products – more are on the way – and to employ an award-winning team of engineers and researchers with a combined 30 beautiful children! With a team built upon that kind of parenting experience, you can be sure that you’ll be getting a product designed with moms and dads in mind.
